Deep 3d laser engraving machines manufacturers
There are hundreds of deep engraving lasers in the market. Are they really capable of deep engraving? Do they have experience? Can they etch or deep engrave hard metals?
Most of the lasers do not do deep laser engraving easily on all the metals specially the hardened tool materials. Some are not able to etch at a stretch for hours. Keeping all important features in mind Markolaser deep laser engraving are well suited for special deep engraving applications like:
- Coin mint dies: deep engraving with 3 D engraving as on option.
- Deep laser engraving of metal button dies
- Deep laser engraving of mold inserts
- Matting and Texturing of button, coin dies by Markolaser and deep engraving lasers
- Exotic and experimental jobs capability for electronics is ideal for high speed deep etching jobs.
Markolaser can now easily replace the mold inserts which are traditionally fabricated by MECHANICAL CNC MACHINING or Pantographs.
The biggest advantage is:
Now you do not need to machine softer steel and after processing harden it. The post process hardening destroys the sharpness of tool. So a metal insert of 58-62 HRC hardness can be easily processed by MARKOLASER DEEP ENGRAVING SYSTEM. Infect a tungsten carbide insert / tool can also be deep engraved by this Markolaser deep engraving laser machines.
Laser engraving on Coin Die
Laser engraving is the process of removing a portion of the material to leave an engraved mark which is visible beneath. The laser creates a huge amount of heat during the engraving process, which essentially, causes the material to vaporize during each pulse. Several passes of the laser may be required to get the desired depth of the engraving.
Our lasers are capable of deep engraving as well as embossing on a hardened tool (up to 65 HRC). We have 2-axis as well as 3 axis laser machines for 2D/3D engraving on 2D surface/3D freeform surface.
Key features of our deep engraving on the coin dies:
- Our laser is capable of consistent engraving up to 6 mm.
- Extremely superb beam quality (M2 ≤ 1.3), allows for very fine engraving and achieve accuracy to few microns.
