The biennial event is visited and showcased by the giants in imaging, sensors, test and measurement/optical measurement systems, laser & laser systems for production engineering, optical Technology, lasers and optoelectronic, bio photonics, medical engineering and optical information and communication.

What we showcased

Markolaser URSA- jack of all trades and traceability lasers with 4 indexing stations in which positioning of the part is done by camera, marking by laser, 2nd camera to read the barcode, and putting the data back to the client server.

Also showed our own user interface, which is important because it is client-controlled interface which is made specifically for each client customized graphic user interface.

Another very important feature that we added to the laser machine is a camera to register the part manually coordinating it with the simple customized software.

Example- if you have a shoe die, and you want to register it manually. You can easily see it on the camera, you can mark its coordinates and register it. This is a new feature that we have launched in the exhibition

Future developments

Important development in the coming year is going to be welding. We tied up with SPI lasers, Precitec and other suppliers for building up lasers in 2 categories of micro and macro welding by technologies such as galvo based welding and laser head welding.

Going to launch hand held laser for marking on parts where it is difficult to bring the part to the laser source.

Introduce a tape that can be put on metals, ceramics which when lasered will transfer the color to the substrate.

Stitch less and seam less 3D engraving of large surface areas. We hope to complete this project in 2 years.

Launches in India

We launched a new UV laser and a new 10-watt green laser in the exhibition.

In India this year we will be launching a 3-watt UV laser, 10-watt green laser and have sold our 1st 5-watt green laser.

Our first specialized femto second laser will be tested by end 2019. We look forward to this development for Indian market.

We are Honored

SCANLAB is no 1 producer of high-quality scanners in the world. Spinks has been using their scanners for a long time now. We also promote their scanners in most of the Markolaser products. We rely on their capability and quality in a very big way.

Sometime back SCANLAB had made a corporate movie featuring Mr. Vineet jain (director, Markolaser) which was run on their booth during the whole show. We are highly honored and appreciative of this as an Indian company displayed on our principal’s booth for joint promotion of their products.

Mr. Wilfried Stadlmair (board member and shareholder of SCANLAB, Germany) also met Mr. Jain at the stall where both had long conversations on philanthropy, climate change and other social concerns.

Overall laser World of photonics was a very successful event in terms of gathering latest knowledge of the entire photonics sectors combining research, technology, industry & up to date expertise with valuable external inspiration from industry’s key players, renowned scientists & enthusiastic visitors.
